The native grasslands of the Wells Canyon region offer an excellent hunting habitat for wildlife. Over 2,200 acres of irrigated corn, grassland, and pasture offer a variety of wild game. 
Several hunting packages are available:
Whitetail & Mule Deer Hunt - 4 days
Guided Hunt: $1500/per hunter
Unguided Hunt: $1000/per hunter
Note: Maximum of two hunters per hunt.
Guided hunt includes:
guide service
in-field transportation
field dressing
horse-back riding (if desired)
Turkey Hunt : $150/per hunter/per day
Note: Hunter responsible for calling birds and own blinds if desired.
Pheasant/Quail Hunt : $75/per hunter/per day
Other Game-Bird Hunts available on seasonal basis (i.e. Duck, Dove, etc.)

LODGING
Lodging is available only six miles away at Dancing Leaf Lodge. Dancing Leaf Lodge offers cabin rentals, each will sleep four. Cabins are complete with full kitchen and bath. Please call in advance for reservations at (308)963-4233 or www.dancingleaf.com.
Lodging is also available in Curtis, Nebraska, which is only 15 miles from the ranch. Check out the lodging information in the area as you get ready to visit and experience the "Frontier Adventure."
Hi-Line Motel, 323 Center Avenue, Curtis, Nebraska, (308)367-4340. This motel has just been redecorated with six rooms available.
The Lodge at Midwest, 404 W. 2 nd Street, Curtis, Nebraska, (308)367-4451. The Lodge has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The rooms can be rented individually and share a totally furnished kitchen/family room or the complete facility is available as one unit for a family or group.
Numerous hotels/motels are available in North Platte, Nebraska, approximately 30 miles north of the ranch.
REQUIREMENTS
Hunting permits and licenses are the hunter's responsibility.
Hunters will need to purchases a permit for the PLATTE Management Unit.
